Give us an example of a time where you have been supported to achieve your best in your career with us.

At the start of my current job I struggled but I was mentored by my Project Manager who helped me learn my role and be the best I can be at it.

VEUK is an organisation made up of Incredible Teams both large and small. Tell us about your Incredible Team and what it’s like to work with them.

My team has around 15 personnel working in it. We all get along and share our stories of our personal lives which makes working with them so much easier.

At VEUK and our associated Businesses, we are ‘Transforming our World Through the Digital and Energy Revolutions’. Is there anything you and your team are doing locally to achieve that goal?

We update our company’s newsletter with photos and updates of our projects. People see the work we are doing to help everyone go green through our work with different Distribution Network Operators (DNO).

Finally, can you tell us in a few words why you are proud to do what you do?

I started out as a simple site wireman and worked my way up to supervisor, manager and then into the job role of Project Engineer through the training and help that Omexom and VINCI Energies provided for me. I have some close friends now as part of my work team who I know are there to help and and they also know i am there to help them. I have seen some of the sites and work we have done in the past and it makes me proud to know i worked on new substations and sites that are making the planet greener.
