Hi Mike, can you finish the following sentence: ‘My business is an incredible company to work for because…’

My company is an exceptional place to work, particularly for those passionate about stress analysis. It fosters a culture of innovation, values, technical expertise and undertakes projects that make a meaningful impact in critical industries like nuclear and defence. The stress analysis department plays a pivotal role, tackling complex challenges and ensuring the safety, reliability and efficiency of designs. It offers opportunities to work on intricate calculations, apply advanced methodologies and directly contribute to designs that meet stringent industry standards. This dedication to precision and excellence not only drives professional growth but also instils a deep sense of pride and collaboration among team members.

Give us an example of a time where you have been supported to achieve your best in your career while with us…

During my time with the company, I have been fortunate to contribute to expanding its expertise in stress analysis. Recognising the need for growth in this area, I worked with the management team to identify key areas to invest in training for both myself and other members of the team. This proactive approach not only enhanced our collective capabilities but also empowered us to tackle increasingly complex projects with confidence. One such area of focus was pipe stress analysis using CAESAR II software, which we now routinely apply across various industries, serving multiple clients.
