This autumn, we teamed up with MyVirtualMission to challenge our community of incredible people to a virtual race across Northern Europe, to see which of our teams could complete the over 4000km courney that connected VINCI Energies offices in the UK, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland with 22 Teams from across the UK and Ireland logged their exercises and steps throughout the month of September .

Incredibley, out of all of our teams, 6 managed to complete the 2838.5km route with all 181 participants collectively covering over 40,500km in an event that saw many of our colleagues pushing themselves to move more, try out some exercises that they normally wouldn’t, get healthy and most importantly, have fun doing it!

Many of our challengers won prizes for their efforts and our top three teams chose some charities to receive donations totaling £1500 from us including: Chorley Help the Homeless, Cancer Research UK, Knoxwood Wildlife Trust and The Welcome Centre food bank.
