Working with Actemium Belgium to develop the Alpro account for us in the UK. Belgium affected the introductions and worked closely with us to support us in delivering the best result for the client.

VEUK is an organisation made up of Incredible Teams both large and small. Tell us about your Incredible Team and what it’s like to work with them.

We have a team composed largely of engineers, specifically control engineers and everyone is keen to share their knowledge and experience to help us win business and overcome obstacles. This, combined with a great admin and finance team makes for a really good and supportive working environment.

At VEUK and our associated Businesses, we are ‘Transforming our World Through the Digital and Energy Revolutions’. Please tell us how you (or your team) is helping us to achieve that goal.

As our business is all about industrial automation we find ourselves at the forefront of digitalisation and are constantly assessing and working with new technologies to add value to our offer. The latest examples would be in relation to digital twinning, track and trace applications and electronic records related to quality and compliance. We also work with clients to develop their building management systems with bespoke solutions to help them manage and control their energy and environment.

Finally, can you tell us in a few words why you are proud to do what you do?

Industry in the UK is facing increasing challenges around an aging work force, lack of skilled labour, increased regulation and the threats related to climate change to name but a few. We help solve problems related to the automation and control of industrial processes and their integration within the wider business context to assist UK industry in becoming as efficient, sustainable and competitive as possible so in our own small way we contribute to the overall success of Actemium UK and of that we can be proud!
