£570,000 Granted to 67 Charities Since 2016
This year was the most successful yet for the VINCI UK Foundation, with an incredible £207,000 raised for 24 not-for-profit organisations across the UK and Ireland aimed at fighting social exclusion.
Since 2016, the Foundation has been able to grow year on year and increase both the amount of money funded and the number of people that have been helped all over the UK. A total of £570,00 has been granted to 67 charities since its creation.
Earlier this year we met with some of the organisations that we have supported and their sponsors, creating a video to better explain the role of the Foundation. Featured in the video are just three of the many organisations that have benefited from grants:
Brainwave is a charity that exists to help children with disabilities and additional needs to achieve greater independence by aiming to improve mobility, communication skills and learning potential through a range of educational and physical therapies. Sponsored by David Day, S.H.E. Manager at Nuvia, they received a grant of £10,974 for a sensory integration room to enhance their range of services.

The Coventry Cyrenians are a charity that aim to support the homeless and vulnerably housed in and around Coventry and Warwickshire, empowering them to live as independently as possible. In 2016, supported by their sponsors Ruth Ottley and Bruno Seguin, they received a grant of £7,000 that enabled them to buy a large van. This has allowed them to collect more donations and furnish more properties.

Serenity Farm is a care farm located in Stoke-on-Trent that gives children and adults with learning difficulties and difficult backgrounds the chance to interact with animals, learn new skills and make new friends in a creative, loving environment. With the help of sponsor Kevin Pugh, they received a grant of £10,560 in order to build much-needed, accessible toilet facilities to serve all their visitors.
